Wimbledon appoints Sally Bolton as Head of Corporate Affairs
LONDON – 19 May 2016 – The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) has announced the appointment of Sally Bolton OBE in a new position as Head of Corporate Affairs at the AELTC and The Championships, Wimbledon.
Sally will be responsible for year round corporate affairs and management of key strategic projects, including the promotion of integrity, government relationships and market research.
Sally is an experienced and well respected sports administrator with over 18 years of event management and project experience. Having worked at the Rugby Football League as Director of Events, Projects and Planning, in 2014 Sally was awarded an OBE after the success of the 2013 Rugby League World Cup. Her most recent role was Managing Director of the 2017 World Athletics Championships.
Richard Lewis, Chief Executive of the AELTC, said: “We are delighted that we have attracted Sally to this position and I am confident she will make an excellent addition to the AELTC in this key strategic area.”
